Online Mental Health Resources

These resources provide much factual educational materials on a variety of mental health topics. They provide a good perspective and context for understanding issues that are germane to the human condition. Obtaining such a perspective helps to reduce stress and diminish worry as students can more readily decide whether further follow-up care is warranted. These include apps, videos, Ted Talks, and informational pamphlets, as well as links to professional websites that provide suggestions and coping strategies.

Websites

We have provided links to nationally recognized, credible websites such as the American Psychological Association (APA), the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA), all of which provide current literature on topics of interest to students such as Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Coping with Trauma, Dealing with Loss, Substance Abuse, and Eating Disorders to mention a few. You may also click the last link to find an off-campus psychologist through Colorado Psychological Association.
