What you need to know about your classes

CLASS FORMATS

In Person Classes:

  • Class is on campus

Online Classes:

  • No on campus requirement.

synchronous Classes:

  • This is an online course that meets at a set time each week.

Hybrid Classes:

  • Combination of face to face and online class sessions.

Synchronous and Asynchronous online classes:

  • A synchronous online class meets at a set time each week in the same way an in-person class would. In contrast, an “asynchronous online class” is one in which students access course materials at a time of their choosing and are not required to interact with one another (or the instructor) at set times.

The RTD CollegePass for Auraria Campus students is available.

 To be eligible you must be currently registered for the fall semester and have a current Campus ID card.

 You can get the RTD CollegePass for the fall semester at the Campus ID Station (Suite #269) located in Tivoli Student Union just across from Tivoli Station bookstore.

 If you are a returning student you can get your RTD CollegePass online.

  • Pay all or Part of your tuition in monthly installments
  • Service charge waived first month, thereafter 1.5% service charge

Student Loan Repayment Policy

U.S. Department of Education is allowing borrowers to request administrative forbearance to temporarily stop making federal student-loan payments for 60 days without becoming delinquent. Borrowers must contact their loan servicer to request this forbearance.

As of March 13, the DoE plans to waive all interest on Federal Direct Loans, Federal Perkins Loans and Federal Family Education Loans held by the Department of Education. Interest rates will automatically be adjusted, and no action is required by borrowers.

Indigenous & Native People's Grant

The program covers tuition and fees for eligible students whose costs aren’t covered by federal, state or institutional aid and scholarships programs.

Eligible Students

  • Must be a Colorado Resident
  • Must be enrolled with one of the 574 federally recognized nations
  • Must register for one credit toward a badge, certificate or first bachelors degree up to 125 credits
