The Faculty Senate is one of the pillars of shared governance at MSU Denver and plays an important role in representing the voice of faculty. The role of a senator is both to represent your department and to serve as a conduit of information for the faculty in your department. Faculty Senate procedures are dictated by our Constitution and Bylaws. When not otherwise specified in the Constitution or Bylaws, we follow Robert’s Rules of Order. Meetings are conducted using these rules.
Much of the important work of the Faculty Senate is done through our twelve standing committees.
The Agenda is completed the Friday prior to Faculty Senate Meetings and is posted on the website under the meeting date Here.
