When you choose to donate directly to the scholarship, your donation will payout directly to students in the upcoming scholarship cycle.
When you choose to donate to the endowment, your donation contributes to the longevity of the scholarship fund and payout directly to students is dependent on the health of the endowment investment portfolio on a particular year. Donations to the endowment are encouraged (but not required) for higher donation amounts.

This fund is established to support students who are actively engaged in efforts to support positive social change in economic and/or social justice.

This fund is established to provide scholarships for students with a declared major in Women’s Studies or Gender, Women’s, and Sexualities Studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

This Fund celebrates the life and passion of Laura McCall, beloved faculty member and family member. Laura’s unwavering commitment to creating opportunity through education, and to the power of understanding history and the contributions of women to changing the course of history, is recognized in this fund.
Meredith Wetzel (1964-1974) was the daughter of David N. and Joy Lynn (Jodi) Wetzel. She died at the age of ten after an eight-year struggle with Leukemia.
Her parents, her brother Richard Wetzel and wife Mary Ruppe Wetzel, and other family members have established this scholarship in honor of her memory and to support the education of (young women) students at Metropolitan State University of Denver who have also struggled with life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
Migrant farmworkers’ hard-won labor has fed our family and community all my life, so this scholarship is for them, especially the women who hold it all together. It comes with respect, gratitude and admiration for what migrant families have contributed to this nation and how they will change our future. Children of migrant farmworker families struggle fiercely for education and use their degrees to build a more just world..
The purpose of the scholarships is to annually benefit those, (preferably women,) with significant family responsibilities and a migrant worker family background.
This fund is established to provide scholarships that support students who have overcome issues of violence, particularly women-identified or gender non-binary students
