MSU Denver Healthcare Leaders
The MSU Denver Healthcare Leaders (MSUDHL) is a student-run organization that aims to provide personal and professional development through volunteer opportunities, networking, and knowledge outside of the classroom. MSUDHL promotes the interests of MSU Denver and offers an opportunity for fellowship among students in MSU Denver healthcare-related programs and foster relationships with healthcare leaders. MSUDHL provides support and opportunity for students through events, and resources to help them navigate programs and the industry. The overarching goal of the group is to bridge academia to the professional healthcare setting.
MSU Denver Advisor Network
This is a powerful online tool to help MSU Denver alumni connect with current students to provide career advice and guidance. An alumni mentor will help students and young alumni find the expertise they need to fulfill their professional goals, practice for a big interview, and/or get insight into a particular career field or industry.
Integrative Health Care Club
The IHC Club is open to students and graduates interested getting to know like-minded people. The Integrative Health Care Program at Metro blends basic science with ancient healing traditions. This program supports a recent shift in health care toward integrative medicine.
Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group
The LMIG at MSU Denver is founded in affiliation with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine Professionals in Training (PiT) in order to allow the organized collaboration of a group of prevention-oriented student members who hold a passionate interest in Lifestyle Medicine as well as increasing awareness of the field.
MHA Network LinkedIn Group
This is a private group for current students and alumni of the MHA program at MSU Denver. The primary purpose of this group is to create a professional community in which the MHA staff can support the MHA students, but also a space where alumni can connect with each other and with current students of the program.
Master's of Health Administration Alumni Network (MHAAA)
The mission of the MHA Alumni Association is to support MSU Denver MHA graduates in their professional development, networking, and community service endeavors. The vision is to help students build relationships with other alumni and healthcare stakeholders in Colorado for the purpose of creating a talent pipeline into the workforce, creating a mentoring and scholarship pipeline to assist emerging professionals, and broaden the visibility and reputation of the MHA Program at MSU Denver. The group will also support MSU Denver MHA graduates by providing relevant professional development and community service opportunities by collaborating with other individuals and organizations. In general, the group is committed to connecting, enriching, and serving MSU Denver and its students.
