The College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is the largest college at MSU Denver. We are made up of twenty academic departments, spanning 45+ majors and disciplines which are separated into three divisions:

The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences has eleven academic departments including the Department of Africana Studies, the Department of Chicana/o Studies, the Department of Communication Studies, the Department of English, the Department of History, the Department of Journalism and Media Production, the Department of Philosophy, the Department of Political Science, the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, the Department of World Languages and the Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy (GITA).
