Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority Life at Metropolitan State University of Denver! Please take a few minutes to look through our website to learn more about each of our organizations and councils. Many students make the decision to join fraternities and sororities at MSU Denver and nationwide each year and we hope you, as a parent, guardian or family member, will learn about the incredible opportunities available to your student through membership in a fraternity or sorority.

If your student is just joining the community, we encourage exploration of all of our councils and organizations. We hope students will be true to themselves when seeking membership within an organization with other students who share common interests and goals that can lead to life-long friendships and an enriched student experience.

We look forward to working with both you and your student(s) in the future. Please feel free to contact the Fraternity & Sorority Life Team at any time.

Finances/Chapter Dues Information

Fraternity and sorority membership does involve a financial cost. That cost varies widely by chapter, and students interested in pursuing membership should ask questions to clearly understand financial expectations. Questions interested students might consider asking include:

  • What is the per semester cost to be a member of this chapter?
  • When are dues due to the organization?
  • Does your chapter offer payment plans to pay dues in installments? Are scholarships available?
  • What do dues cover? Should we expect any additional fees as part of membership?

Chapters should be easily able to respond to questions regarding financial expectations. Stay tuned back on this page as we put a grid up with our fraternity and sorority chapters finance/chapter dues information.

For more information in the meantime as we get this grid filled, contact Armando Rijo, Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Student Government at [email protected].
